General Description

Greatest affinity to P. barrosoanum but plant usually bigger, anterior lobe of the leaf blade narrower in proportion but less contracted in the lower part, lateral lobes more obtuse towards the apex, apex itself not attenuating, but obtuse-rounded, separated by a sinus which is more deep in proportion, spathe often shorter than the spadix and without an apical acumen.
